Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Morning
There’s almost nothing that can lift your spirits like a sunny morning after a fresh snowfall. We’re once again near the Pittsfield Preserve. Interestingly, some of the land is being preserved as agricultural land (and still farmed by an area farm family on behalf of the township), so you frequently find a juxtaposition of farm, forest, and wetland throughout this area.
This particular bit of farm and forest is bounded on two sides by business parks and condos and stands sentry on the encroaching city.
Where is This?
Best public access points to the Preserve itself are off of Marton and Thomas Roads between Morgan and Textile.
